Ivanovs' scenography of The First Year

This year, Thindividual + painter Ritums Ivanovs have been producing the scenography of a history exhibition "The First Year". The exhibition opened late November in Cesis Art and History Museum and is dedicated to the centenary Latvia. The author of the exhibition is the historian of the Cēsis Museum, Dr. hist. Talis Pumpurins. Its scenography and design were mastered by artist Ritums Ivanovs in collaboration with Mārtiņš Blanks, Krists Zankovskis and design agency Tribe.

White Light at Bastejs Gallery

This fall, the renown Latvian painter Ritums Ivanovs will host a solo show White Light at Bastejs Gallery (Riga, Latvia). The private view is at October 17th at 6PM and the show will stay open until November 11, 2018.

Context Art Fair New York

In cooperation with Bastejs Gallery and Thindividual art management, this May, painter Ritums Ivanovs will be travelling to NY and participating at CONTEXT, the official international emerging & cutting-edge art fair in New York City. He will be in NY from April 30. Starting May 3rd with the VIP preview, Art New York + its sister fair the CONTEXT New York, will be taking over Pier 94 till May 7th. The fair will showcase artwork from more than 150 galleries representing nearly 1,200 artists from 50 countries.

Autumn activities: Paris Tokyo Miami Geneva Frankfurt

The summer is over and autumn has started with new and rather cool production challenges: preparing for Paris and Tokyo fashion weeks with designer Keta Gutmane. Simultaneously working on Miami Scope art fair, a portrait exhibition in Switzerland and the Feld+Haus gallery 2017 exhibition for painter Ritums Ivanovs.

Gutmane SS16 shoot done

Yesterday a crew of eleven occupied an abandoned press house at the heart of Riga to produce the image campaigns of designer Keta Gutmane's new spring/summer 2016 collection. Art talks with German Chamber of Commerce

The format of art talks so popular in Europe is gathering strength here in Latvia too now. The past Thursday, October 24, saw an exclusive art talks event "The art of investing in art" in the studio of painter Ivanovs, organised by Thindividual and the German Chamber of Commerce in Latvia under its Business After Hours concept for members only. Coming up: Zürich and Paris

Cold autumn is good for strategic planning ahead. With her new business cards straight out of printing house, boasting beautiful minimal design by Tõnu Runnel of Fraktal, Thindividual has made plans for its regular Zürich trip in November, followed by one to Paris later on in February 2014. Follow-up of Zürich art contacts of Thindividual's own inhouse painter, Ritums Ivanovs, will be in order, to continue with planning ahead the year 2014 when Riga will take on the task of European Cultural Capital. In Paris, the fashionable Team Gutmane of four (the designer, the business manager, an advisor and a project coord) shall be attending Première Vision, the world’s premier fabric show where all the fashionistas and designers of the oh so seasonal and cyclic fashion world will be acquiring their materials for upcoming collections and establishing contacts for seasons to come.
